Casey discovered her love for horses at the young age of two, and although she is now only nineteen years old, she has the experience and qualifications of many much older than herself. Casey began riding at three years old, and was given her first pony at five, a little Miniature gelding named Rusty that she still has today. Casey began showing her horses in 4-H when she was very young, in western pleasure, halter, trail, and equitation classes. By the age of ten she had gone through four horses before she found the perfect one, an Arabian gelding named Silver that she also still has today. On Silver's back Casey had no limits, she continued to do 4-H, until the walls of her bedroom had no more room for ribbons and trophys, as well as doing some english riding, then she was invited to gymkhanas, which led to a love for rodeo. Casey ended up riding on three different rodeo circuits over five years, the BC High School Rodeo Association, the BC Rodeo Association, and the BC Barrel Racing Association, all on the back of her trusty Arabian! After Casey graduated from high school she took the year off of the rodeo circuits and decided to attend college at the British Columbia College of Equine Therapy, where she is currently just finishing up her first year of classes. Casey loves Equine Sport Therapy because it is a job where she can help horses and make their lives as enjoyable as possible, which is all she has ever wanted.
